Warehouse Operative / Driver's Mate
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives / Driver's Mates to join our client based in Uddingston on an ongoing basis.
This is a varied role
, with duties changing depending on the day's requirements. You could be working as a Driver's Mate/Porter one day and in the warehouse the next
, all for the same company.
- Heavy lifting is required
- Working as a Driver's Mate/Porter
- Loading and unloading goods
- General warehouse duties
- Assisting with deliveries
- Working as part of a team
- Following health and safety procedures
Dayshift:
Monday to Friday
Start:
5am or 6am
Finish:
5pm or 6pm
Backshift:
Monday to Friday
2pm - 10pm
Pay Rate: £15.73 per hour
This is an ongoing position for the right candidates.
Requirements:- Previous warehouse or manual handling experience preferred
- Comfortable with heavy lifting
- Reliable and punctual
- Good physical fitness
- Able to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to carry out both warehouse and Driver's Mate duties
