Production London Full-Time Hybrid We are MTVE International Creative, Paramount's award-winning in-house creative team working on the iconic MTV and Comedy Central brands. Our passionate, collaborative team creates bold, innovative work for audiences worldwide. As the international hub for these brands, we handle campaigns, promos, and branding for the UK, international regions, and global feeds.
Is this role for you? You'll work closely with the Production Manager, bringing projects and productions to life for the creative team from initial concept through to completion, helping ensure budget, schedule, and creative requirements are met while delivering on creative excellence. Your work will range from booking voiceovers to supporting high-profile campaigns, so strong multi-tasking skills will serve you well.
You'll also team up with the production management team on day-to-day tasks, helping keep the department running smoothly.
- You'll raise Purchase Order requisitions for music clearances, post-production sessions, agency fees, shoot production, and voiceovers.
- You'll liaise with the creative team to maintain accurate budgets for each project.
- You'll monitor daily spends by project using departmental purchasing systems and cost managers.
- You'll set up new suppliers and help ensure correct invoicing guidelines and deadlines are met.
- You'll follow company guidelines on production spend, expenses, and T&E.
- You'll maintain and update records of production activity and spend, overseeing departmental filing and Excel records.
- You'll work with accounts payable and payroll to help ensure timely payment to external suppliers, freelancers, and casual employees.
- You'll support the Production Management team with cost management and reporting.
- You'll raise all contracts and make sure completed contracts are returned to legal.
- You'll negotiate simple contract terms and fees for collaborating production companies, creative agencies, and freelancers.
- You'll liaise with legal, HR, and finance on contracts, NDAs, vendor selection, capex, and payments, and help roll out new company policies effectively.
- You'll update contract logs, contact files, and freelance contract files.
- You'll make sure relevant legal paperwork is completed for all bookings and voiceovers.
- You'll support the production management team with campaign production, including booking crew, freelancers, and organizing reviews.
- You'll create call sheets for filming and get to know crew rates and overtime policies.
- You'll engage freelancers and negotiate rates and payments.
- You'll build knowledge of different freelancer/casual contract types and payment terms.
- You'll advise on best practices to achieve creative excellence using the latest technologies and equipment.
- You'll support Risk Assessment forms and Health and Safety procedures.
- You'll help the Production Manager organize the creative team's daily diaries and production workflow.
- You'll help ensure all projects are produced cost- and time-effectively while staying true to creative ideals.
- You'll flag any project overages to the Production Manager.
- You'll plan and book external post sessions, including daily audio bookings.
- You'll liaise daily with Voice Over artist agencies to book relevant talent and ensure clearances.
- You'll maintain departmental edit schedules and calendars.
- You'll monitor and help ensure all promos and designs are delivered as requested.
