Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Look no further! located in the vibrant borough of Camden, is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role involves working closely with a delightful Year 2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping our Year 2 pupil with ASD reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one support to the pupil, assisting them in their academic and social development.
Implementing tailored strategies and interventions in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO.
Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the pupil's learning and engagement.
Collaborating with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to the pupil's development.
Documenting progress and communicating effectively with the pupil's parents and the wider school community.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

🔹 Experience working with children with ASD or similar special educational needs.
🔹 Strong understanding of ASD and familiarity with strategies to support pupils with ASD.
🔹 Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
🔹 Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
🔹 Ability to adapt and respond effectively to the pupil's changing needs.
