Position: Day-to-Day Cover Staff – Primary School
About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to provide day-to-day cover across primary schools in Camden. Whether you are a qualified teacher, a teaching assistant, or have experience supporting children with special educational needs, this is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly while making a real difference in pupils’ learning and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver pre-prepared lessons (for teachers) and support classroom learning.

* Assist pupils with their educational and personal development.

* Provide one-to-one or small group support, particularly for children with SEN.

* Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

* Adapt quickly to different year groups and school settings.

Requirements

* QTS for teaching roles, or relevant classroom experience for TA/LSA positions.

* Experience supporting children in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

* Passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
