Early Years BSL Teaching Assistant - Camden - 2 Days per week.

Remedy Education is working with a specialist primary school for deaf pupils in Camden. They are looking for a dedicated Early Years BSL Teaching Assistant to join as soon as possible to work 2 days per week.
This school has an excellent reputation for its nurturing approach and commitment to helping every child feel heard, valued, and supported. Pupils in the Early Years communicate primarily through British Sign Language, and this role is key in helping them build both their communication and early learning skills.
Responsibilities- Support children aged 4‑5 with their first steps into education.
- Use British Sign Language (BSL) to help children access activities, routines, and play.
- Assist with early literacy, numeracy, and creative play, making learning engaging and accessible.
- Encourage social interaction and communication through signing and structured play.
- Work closely with teachers, speech/hearing specialists, and families to ensure children make progress.
- BSL Level 2 or higher qualification.
- Experience supporting young children, ideally in an Early Years or SEN setting.
- A warm, patient, and engaging approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with young learners.
- Confidence in using BSL throughout daily routines and classroom activities.
