We are working with welcoming primary schools in Camden that are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to support their Nursery / Reception classes
.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about Early Years education who enjoys helping young children learn through play, exploration, and structured activities. You will play an important role in supporting children’s development, wellbeing, and early learning experiences.

• Supporting children in Nursery or Reception within the EYFS framework
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and school staff
• Planning and implementing the daily routine within the classroom
• Assisting with the planning and preparation of engaging EYFS activities
• Acting as a key worker for up to four children
  , supporting their development and wellbeing
• Observing children’s learning and recording progress while maintaining confidentiality
• Ensuring children are happy, safe, and their individual needs are met
• Supporting the learning, play, and development of pupils throughout the school day
• Attending monthly staff meetings and training sessions
• Ensuring nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and EYFS standards are followed

• Experience working within an Early Years / Nursery setting (1–2 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment
• A commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
