Choice Teachers are working with an outstanding secondary school in Camden to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher for a long-term position commencing in September.

This Design and Technology Teacher role is initially required for the first half of the Autumn Term
, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students and joining a supportive and well-established department.

The successful Design and Technology Teacher will:

• Teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute positively to the wider department and school community

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level
  
  Be confident teaching up to Key Stage 4
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be organised, adaptable and enthusiastic about their subject
• Be committed to raising achievement and inspiring young people
