Reception Teacher

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment where children can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development
Deliver creative, play-based learning that supports children's development across all areas of learning
Be confident assessing children's progress and using observations to inform planning
Have high expectations for children's learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Be committed to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment

The role will involve:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
Supporting children's early literacy, numeracy, communication, and personal development
Completing observations and assessments to monitor progress and identify next steps
Creating a safe, stimulating, and well-organised classroom environment
Working collaboratively with the Early Years team to provide outstanding provision for all children
