Contract: Full Time | Term Time Only | Long Term with the opportunity to become permanent
Protocol Education is recruiting a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Haringey. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HLTA who is passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential and is ready to take on additional classroom responsibilities across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will work across KS1 and KS2, providing high-quality classroom support, delivering planned lessons during Teacher release time and leading small group and intervention sessions.
The role includes:
Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2
Supporting pupils in whole class, small group and one-to-one settings
Leading targeted interventions to raise attainment
Supporting pupils with SEND where required
Working closely with Teachers and the senior leadership team
Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
The successful candidate will have:
HLTA status or equivalent experience
Previous experience working in a UK primary school
Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
Excellent behaviour management skills
Confidence leading whole class learning
A positive, flexible and proactive approach
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
