SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD) – Camden

Camden, London Salary: £90–£100 per day

Full-time, long-term temporary

Start Date:

• Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support
• Using visual timetables, structured routines and appropriate communication strategies
• Supporting emotional and sensory regulation
• Adapting classroom activities alongside the class teacher and SENCO
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive peer relationships
• Monitoring progress and contributing to pupil support plans

• Previous experience supporting children with ASD/autism in a school or specialist setting
• A calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding and SEND practice
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete one
• Right to work in the UK

This SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD) role would suit an experienced TA who wants a long-term position where they can become an important part of a child’s school experience.
