SEN Teaching Assistant - Camden Primary School (Phonics & Intervention Focus)
An Outstanding primary school in Camden (NW1) is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in phonics support. This full-time role begins in September 2026 and runs through to July 2027 - ideal for graduates or aspiring educational psychologists seeking valuable classroom experience.
You'll be working across Year 2 and Year 4, delivering tailored interventions and supporting pupils with special educational needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain long-term classroom experience while making a real difference.

- Located near King's Cross & Euston, North London (NW1)
- September start | Full-time | Until July 2027
- Daily rate £100-£115 depending on experience
- Phonics and intervention experience essential
- Excellent training and progression pathways
- Interviews taking place ASAP
- Delivering phonics sessions to boost literacy
- Supporting students with EHCPs and learning needs
- Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCo
- Running academic interventions and tracking progress
- Encouraging pupil confidence and motivation
- Graduate with phonics/intervention experience
- Passionate about special educational needs
- Excellent communication and patience
- Available full-time from September to July
- Based near Camden / King's Cross or able to travel to NW1
- Rated Outstanding by Ofsted (June 2023)
