£42,000 per annum

Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities team within a prestigious healthcare environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a critical hospital setting, ensuring essential mechanical systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to support patient care.

• Design, install, maintain, and manage mechanical systems across the hospital
• Work on HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and regular inspections
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, safety, and regulatory standards
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, timely engineering solutions
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, architects, and hospital staff
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, performance, and compliance data
• Support energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives across the site

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering within healthcare or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and regulatory compliance

• £42,000 annual salary
