Job Summary
Join Our Multi‑Award‑Winning Team! We are seeking Bank Mental Health Support Workers to join our Residential Care team, helping residents lead meaningful lives and stay connected to their community. You will provide care and support, including personal care, medication administration, and daily activities that promote choice, independence, and dignity.
- Work locations:
Sidney Corob House (122‑126 Fortune Green Road, London, NW6 1DN) – adults 50+ with mental health needs
Jack Gardner House (184‑186 Golders Green Road, London, NW11 9AG) – Jewish adults 18+ with mental health needs
- 2 x Morning
Shifts:
8 am – 4 pm - 1 x Long Day Shift: 8 am – 10 pm
- 1 x Night Shift: 10 pm – 8 am
- Provide personal care, assist with meals, and administer medication.
- Support residents in their daily routines to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Assist in organising and participating in recreational activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders to provide holistic support.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions.
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges, ideally in a residential care setting.
- Experience providing personal care, administering medication, and completing risk assessments.
- The ability to engage and motivate individuals with complex needs.
- Experience working in a multicultural and diverse environment.
