MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator

Telford Pay: £15.00 £ 18.00 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Precise Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking experienced MIG/TIG Welder Fabricators for current and upcoming opportunities with established manufacturing and engineering businesses in Birmingham. The successful candidate will manufacture and assemble high-quality metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques while working accurately from engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities Carry out MIG and TIG welding to the required quality standards. Fabricate components from engineering drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, shape, prepare and assemble metal components. Work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Operate fabrication machinery, hand tools and power tools safely. Inspect finished components for accuracy, strength and quality. Complete grinding, finishing and preparation work. Identify and report defects or production issues.

Meet agreed production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Candidate Requirements Previous MIG and TIG welding and fabrication experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium. Confident using fabrication machinery and workshop equipment. Good measuring and practical mathematical skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A recognised welding or fabrication qualification would be advantageous. Current welding codings would be beneficial but are not essential for every opportunity. Whats on Offer Pay of £15.00 £ 18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Permanent, full-time opportunities. Potential overtime, depending on the employer.
