Up to £37,000 per annum (full‑time equivalent for 40‑hour week, pro‑rata for hours worked). Job Type: Permanent.

Hours:

Part‑time 30.4 hours per week (annualised, overnight shifts) or Full‑time 40 hours per week.

Village Vet Hampstead is seeking a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its 24‑hour hospital, where overnight nursing care, emergency triage, and critical medical management play a vital role in patient outcomes.

• Provide overnight nursing care for hospitalised and emergency patients.
• Perform emergency triage and assist with critical medical management.
• Support emergency surgical and medical cases overnight.
• Participate in structured patient handovers to ensure continuity of care.
• Work collaboratively within the overnight and wider hospital teams.
• Contribute to clinical protocols and patient care standards.

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
• Minimum of two years post‑qualification experience in small animal practice.
• Experience or a strong interest in emergency and critical care and in‑patient care.
• Confidence working overnight independently within a supportive team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
