Literacy Coalition‑South Central Arkansas (LCSCA) is a community‑based, volunteer‑managed organization that serves the literacy community. We advocate the right to literacy, promote effective literacy programs, and recruit and train volunteers to provide direct tutoring to adults and families seeking higher education attainment, technology, job skills, and English language skills. LCSCA operates in four rural counties of south‑ and south‑central Arkansas:
Calhoun, Dallas, Ouachita, and Union. Our mission is to assist adults and families in becoming economically self‑sufficient, employable, and able to move on to higher levels of education.

• Strengthen operational capacity by maintaining continuous learner and volunteer pairing in tutoring sessions.
