Senior Data Scientist / Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong Data Engineering background to drive data analytics, automation, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data mining, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and advanced data visualization using Power BI, along with hands‑on experience in SQL and Python / Power Apps to automate data‑driven workflows.

• Perform advanced data mining and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to monitor and improve process performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business and leadership teams.
• Build and deploy Power Applications to automate data collection, reporting, and business processes.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Python to ensure reliable and scalable data solutions.
• Establish data relationships and automation workflows within Power BI and related platforms.
• Lead complex analytics and automation projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and analysts, providing technical leadership and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
• Proven experience in data analytics and development of Power BI dashboards.
• Strong expertise in designing and deploying Power Applications.
• Hands‑on experience with data mining and automation within Power BI.
• Extensive experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
• Strong skills in SQL and Python for data engineering and automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

• Advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of database management and experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with additional analytics and visualization tools such as Minitab, JMP, Inductive Automation, or similar platforms.
