Harris seeks a Program Scheduler to manage complex program schedules, including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis. The role supports program planning and integrates inputs from all programs, interfaces with all program team elements to develop and maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and performs schedule analysis. Responsibilities include aligning major projects across functional groups (finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality), tracking plans, performing risk analysis, resolving critical path conflicts, and utilizing critical path, driving path, variance metrics, milestone charts, and Earned Value Management to gauge progress.

Functions
  • Develop integrated master schedules (IMS) using SOW and WBS.
  • Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight.
  • Create and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Provide analysis and validation of program schedules through baseline maintenance, including support for Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis (e.g., BEI, CEI, CPLI, SPI).
  • Implement and monitor Earned Value Management Systems on programs.
  • Communicate within and outside own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures, and handle communication with external parties (customers, vendors) when necessary.
  • Ensure projects and program schedules are integrated across company functional groups.
  • Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
  • Explain, interpret, and secure cooperation on policies, procedures, and practices related to program scheduling.
  • Attend and lead scheduling status reviews and conduct briefings with senior leaders, communicating matters of importance to the function or business area.
  • Contribute to departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on results.
  • Participate in schedule training, engineering, and program excellence organization.
  • Up to 20% business travel to other L3

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of scheduling experience;
    Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of scheduling experience; or 10 years of related scheduling experience if no degree.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • 3+ years of creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and supporting schedules on assigned projects/programs.
  • 3+ years of using scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
  • 2+ years of creating and presenting project‑level reports and presentations that reflect risk and status to program management and senior management regarding the IMS.
  • Working knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), EVMS Standard (EIA 748‑D), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR).
  • Monte Carlo Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis).
  • Agile Development methodologies associated with EVMS.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving.
  • Attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
  • Familiarity with scheduling add‑on tools such as OPDEC, Structured Solutions SSI tools, Risky Project or similar.
  • Experience with cost and schedule integration software.
