DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean, maintain, and prepare overnight stay properties to ensure a comfortable and welcoming guest experience.
- Set up, tear down, and reset guest spaces, ensuring proper furniture, equipment, and supplies are in place. Includes, but is not limited to, washing and changing linens, restocking supplies, and performing routine housekeeping duties.
- Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
- Effectively communicate with your direct supervisor any overnight property needs to ensure the successful coordination of repairs, upkeep, and the safety of our guests.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning and hospitality supplies.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and via email, with vendors, contractors, staff, and guests.
- Support the team with light administrative or outreach tasks related to events and community engagement.
- Operate vehicles as needed to support hospitality operations.
- Positively and energetically assist the Business Development Coordinator as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Reliable, friendly, and outgoing personality with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to ensure positive interactions with guests, vendors, and the general public.
- Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, and/or event support is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, inviting space.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, with minimal supervision, to meet guest arrival/departure needs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid Arkansas driver’s license.
- Flexible schedule - occasional evenings and weekends will be required to accommodate guest check-in/check-out needs, as well as event timing.
- Blend of hands-on property care and occasional event support.
- Functional ability to frequently climb three flights of stairs to access guest house rooms; lift and carry 30 lbs. 50’ over even and uneven surfaces to set-up and reset event and lodging spaces; reach overhead to access supplies, materials, etc. weighing up to 8 lbs., bend, squat, stoop, and/or kneel while reaching with 1-2 upper extremities to access windows, bathroom/kitchen sanitization, and to manipulate bedding, supplies, drinks, etc.
