Harris Technologies, a division of Aerojet Rocketdyne. The role involves propellant mixing, grinding, and other support-level tasks within the manufacturing operations of advanced solid rocket systems.

• Prepare materials and perform full-scale propellant mixing for all production programs, confirming acceptable weights before releasing materials to casting operations.
• Conduct mathematical calculations to create acceptable mixes for casting and use process data to complete manufacturing data sheets.
• Assemble grinders, grind materials, and weigh material bins for propellant mixing; disassemble, clean, and re‑assemble grinding equipment as required.
• Perform other duties such as AP prep, bowl plugging for mixing, prototype motor casting, development sample preparation, and support of new production initiatives and schedules.
• Work other shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules, use elevated platforms, ascend ladders, and transport up to 35 lbs repetitively.
• Medically cleared to wear a respirator and operate a powered industrial vehicle; obtain a company‑issued license as appropriate.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of related experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/Associate Degree with 2 years related experience.

• Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Follow safety practices.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the work team and others involved in the work.
• Perform mathematical calculations accurately and quickly.
• Prioritize work with management, supervisors, or lead personnel to meet critical deadlines.
