Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions)

Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a Sales Agent for our August and Bangor offices and surrounding locations. This is an in‑office position that requires a strong local network and in‑person relationship building in the community.

• Base salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per year.
• Typical first year total compensation: $55,000 – $75,000 with base, bonuses and uncapped commissions.
• Potential for top performers to earn over $100,000 in their first year.

• Build and leverage a strong local network and in‑person relationships in the community.
• Sell personal lines insurance products (Auto, Home, Life, etc.) to prospective customers.
• Maintain and grow a pipeline of qualified leads.
• Attend training and obtain necessary state insurance licenses.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

• Previous sales experience turning prospects into customers.
• State insurance license in Property & Casualty and Life, or willingness to earn one.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Persuasion, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
