Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a part-time Unit Admin Specialist for the Department of Family and Community Health Sciences within the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences ( SEBS ). This position is temporary and supports the South Jersey Rural Health Transformation Project located in Salem County, NJ.
Key Duties- Assists with the implementation of evidence-based health education programs and community outreach activities by recruiting participants; coordinating educational sessions; preparing instructional materials; maintaining participant communications; supporting participant engagement and retention; and maintaining program records, databases, and evaluation data.
- Assists with report preparation and attend required project training and meetings.
- Resolves routine conflicts and issues, prepares and implements administrative guidelines and procedures, and provide oversight and facilitation.
- Supports the development and coordination of Faith in Prevention Networks and School Wellness Networks by assisting with partner recruitment and communication; scheduling meetings and trainings; preparing agendas and educational materials; documenting network activities; and fostering collaboration among faith-based organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to advance project objectives.
- Provides routine and non‑routine information and explanations to clients.
- Leads community education sessions.
- Creates informational materials; provides supporting research, analysis, and proposal data; prepares, processes, and controls records, statistics, reports, and documents.
- Assists with general program operations, including procurement of educational supplies and materials, coordination of project logistics, preparation of participant support materials, maintenance of inventories, scheduling of educational events, and other administrative and programmatic duties necessary to support successful implementation of grant activities.

Salary Details$30 per hour
