The Support Teacher works with lead bilingual teachers to create a warm and welcoming school culture that is driven by student achievement. Mastery seeks educators who are committed to high expectations and high support for linguistically and culturally diverse students.

• Partner with lead bilingual teachers to implement curriculum and utilize classroom routines and procedures with consistency in English and Spanish.
• Analyze student assessment data and use data to inform instruction.
• Provide small‑group instruction to ensure students master content.
• Collaborate in grade‑level teams to discuss student work and share best practices.
• Engage in lesson planning and preparation to support strong classroom instruction.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Provide substitute coverage as needed.
• May provide whole‑group instruction in up to two subjects per day as skills increase.
• Assist lead teacher with other responsibilities as requested.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Associate’s degree required;
  Bachelor’s strongly preferred in Education or related field.
• Previous student teaching, classroom teaching, or experience working or volunteering with school‑aged children strongly preferred.

• Ability to perform duties in classroom environment: standing, walking, sitting, speaking loudly, seeing/hearing near/far, stooping, kneeling, fine finger manipulation, use computer, chalkboard, dry‑erase board, projector.
• Must sit for up to two hours looking at a computer monitor, using a keyboard and mouse and typing.

• $1,000 signing bonus.
• Start at $44,175; range $44,175–$62,425, growth opportunities based on experience and education.
