OverviewCamden County College (CCC) is a leading two-year community college with campuses in Blackwood, Cherry Hill and Camden, New Jersey. The college operates a Regional Emergency Training Center to educate police and fire academy professionals and partners with the Joint Health Sciences Center in the Camden City educational hub. - Provide leadership and management to produce a quality intercollegiate team that represents a commitment to academic and athletic excellence.
- Perform on-field/court coaching and instruction.
- Recruit student-athletes.
- Maintain team and individual statistics and report scores to necessary outlets.
- Adhere to sport budget, including travel, supplies, and equipment lines.
- Travel with the team to and from all contests.
- Monitor academic progress of student-athletes.
- Fundraise monies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, leadership skills, attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Ability and commitment to recruit, instruct and motivate college student athletes.
- Positive role model for young adults.
- Ability to work with a diverse student population in a multicultural environment.
- Valid driver's license required; employment contingent upon passing a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
- Experience as a college or high school coach with a proven ability to recruit student-athletes.
