Posting Summary

The Community Leadership Center at Rutgers University–Camden is seeking a dynamic Senior Program Administrator to work under the supervision of the Director. The Senior Program Administrator is responsible for supporting the Director in advancing the Center’s mission of strengthening leadership, education, and community development. The position focuses on promoting a research agenda that informs program development, documents best practices, and supports data‑driven planning and development efforts, ensuring that the Center’s work is evidence‑based and contributes to broader institutional and community learning.

The Senior Program Administrator provides research, program development, grant support, and management of strategic projects as delegated by the Director, ensuring alignment with the Center’s vision and priorities.

Salary Details:
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets.

Minimum Salary: $77,919.48
Mid Range Salary: $96,454.48

Qualifications

Minimum

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Public Affairs, Public Policy, Social Work, Education, Urban Studies, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in research, programming and grant development, and/or community‑based initiatives and special projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong research and data analysis skills (quantitative and/or qualitative)
  • Demonstrated ability to document best practices and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively under the direction of senior leadership
  • Knowledge of issues related to urban education, development, and community development
  • Experience supporting senior executives in higher education or nonprofit settings
