We are hiring a Senior Engineer to contribute to multi‑discipline Site/Civil design projects on a full‑time, direct basis at our office in Camden, NJ.
Primary responsibilities include managing multiple projects, acting as lead civil engineer, developing client accounts, preparing proposals, overseeing land development plans, coordinating permits, mentoring junior staff, and handling other tasks as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects and tasks for a variety of client types on the private development side of the office.
- Act as the lead civil engineer of record on projects, coordinating with other disciplines as necessary.
- Responsible for development of and maintaining client accounts.
- Prepare proposals for new & existing clients (including estimation of project fees).
- Oversee the development of Land Development Plans; this includes preparation of engineering design drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports (from schematic design through construction).
- Coordinate permits through regulatory agencies for large‑scale, complex projects.
- Delegate workload to Junior Engineers & Drafters; mentoring / guiding Junior Engineers to develop Stormwater Management (SWM) strategies, Utility Coordination, and Erosion & Sediment Control (E&SC) Design.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- 10+ years of professional experience in engineering with a focus on land development and permitting.
- PE license in New Jersey (licenses in other states are a plus).
- Management and/or project management experience; proven ability to manage multi‑discipline projects.
- Advanced expertise in design and permitting activities.
- Experience with water resources (stream and waterway restoration).
- Experience with engineering tools (e.g., CADD, GIS, analytical programs); proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS/Arc Info.
- Experience with H&H tools (Hydro
CAD, InfoSWWM, Open Flows Water
CAD, Water
GEMS, Sewer
GEMS). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills, self‑motivated, able to multitask and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); technical writing skills are strongly preferred.

Salary range: $120,000 – $160,000 per year.
