This role requires a deep understanding of advanced digital design principles, signal integrity, and high-speed data transmission. As a Senior Electrical Engineer (EE), you will be a crucial member of our engineering team, supporting end-to-end design and development of high-speed digital electronic modules and circuit boards. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and deriving hardware requirements, developing design concepts that meet these requirements, and performing detailed electrical design of circuitry.

This may encompass microprocessors, program and data memories, FPGAs, voltage regulators, power reset sequencers, analog circuitry, and interface transceiver circuits.

You will capture designs as schematic diagrams using our CAD tools, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with our ECAD department for layout and routing on printed wiring boards (PWBs). Once the PWB is fabricated and populated with components by our on-campus assembly facility, you will test and verify the electronics assembly, and support firmware and software integration. Our rigorous design review and documentation process includes the creation of requirements specifications, design documents, and comprehensive test plans and procedures.

• Support the design and development of high-speed digital Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) from concept through production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering to ensure cohesive product development.
• Support signal integrity analysis and simulations to optimize high-speed data paths.
• Develop and review detailed schematics, layout designs, and documentation.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in high-speed digital design technologies.
• Minimal travel required.
