Description
The Lead CCT works in collaboration with unit leadership to promote a positive work environment by facilitating teamwork, coordinated patient care, unit initiatives and projects for non‑licensed personnel. The Lead CCT schedules and performs duties of a CCT.
OverviewKelemen North and South 9 is a two‑sided, seventy‑six bed Medical‑Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psychiatric patients. Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) help with patient care, throughput, and assignments. Nurses on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications to ensure competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.
ExperienceRequired
1‑2 years’ experience required.
Education RequirementsHigh School/GED required.
License/Certification Requirements- AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
- Successful completion of an unlicensed health care provider/technician program required.
- Completed at least one fundamental nursing course in an accredited nursing program required.
- One year or more patient care experience in a similar role required.
Full‑time days; 36 hours a week.
Hours:
7:00 a‑7:30 p with weekend/holiday rotation.
