Holtec International is seeking an experienced and technically skilled IT Support Technician L3 to support and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure across both office and production environments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of Holtec’s computing environment, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, VMware, and enterprise storage systems.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience; 5+ years strongly preferred in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2012–2022), Windows 10/11, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration, including user management, permissions, and group policy administration.
- Experience supporting VMware virtual environments (vSphere/ESXi) and enterprise storage systems such as EMC Isilon or Net App.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery systems (Net Backup or equivalent) and disaster recovery testing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication abilities.
- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining 3D engineering and design applications (Solid Works, Autodesk, MATLAB, Adobe).
- Experience with enterprise storage configuration, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Working knowledge of ERP system connectivity and infrastructure dependencies.
- Familiarity with ITIL service management principles and enterprise ticketing systems (Manage Engine Service Desk or similar).
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Respond to daily IT support requests through the company’s ticketing system (Manage Engine Service Desk or equivalent).
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues involving Windows 10/11, Office 365, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide both on-site and remote support for employees at all organizational levels.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and security groups within Active Directory.
- Administer Office 365 licenses, mailboxes, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Install and configure approved software in accordance with corporate IT standards.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories for hardware and software across multiple facilities.
- Deliver user training and promote best practices in cybersecurity and system use.
- Ensure all work is documented and tracked according to ITIL and company standards.
- Maintain and support Windows Server environments, including patching, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Administer VMware virtual environments, including provisioning, performance management, and snapshot control.
- Manage enterprise storage systems (e.g., EMC Isilon, Net App) — ensuring redundancy, data integrity, and capacity optimization.
- Oversee backup operations and verify data protection across all business systems.
- Configure and manage file servers, permissions, and storage quotas.
- Support network operations including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and IP management.
- Participate in server lifecycle management — from deployment through decommissioning.
- Uphold all corporate cybersecurity, access control, and data retention policies.
- Coordinate printer maintenance and service through third-party vendors.
- Support and maintain cabling infrastructure in compliance with TIA/EIA-568 standards.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to drive system improvements, automation, and reliability initiatives.
- Contribute to project planning, documentation, and implementation for infrastructure upgrades.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ongoing background screening may be required for access to federal or nuclear facility sites.
- Note:
State-issued medical cannabis authorizations are not recognized on federal worksites.
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
