Payroll Manager

Base Pay Range

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for employees across multiple states.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead a small payroll team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, manage deductions, and support reconciliations and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related questions and system audits.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of payroll experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Expertise in multi-state payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred but not required.
