We invite applications for the Quality Control Technician 3 position at L3

. This role focuses on ensuring in-process and final product quality for our defense technology solutions.
- Conduct audits and inspections; recommend corrective actions or improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and provide guidance to assemblers and testers to adhere to quality procedures and standards.
- Contribute to RCCA, MRB, and non-conformance disposition efforts.
- Interface with program, engineering, manufacturing, and quality management functions.
- Support packing and shipping activities.
- Identify, write up, and report non-conformances.
- High School Diploma.
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations of electronic assemblies.
- U.S. citizenship required; must be able to secure a security clearance.
- Proficient in developing manufacturing flow processes, inspection plans, procedures, and workmanship criteria.
- Knowledgeable in part specification, identification marking, packaging, and wiring harness specifications and requirements.
- Knowledgeable in statistical process control techniques and statistics.
- Experience with auditing, test specifications, and equipment.
- Experience with Surface Mount Technology: printing, placement, and soldering processes.
- Team-oriented; able to work as part of a program team.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools:
Excel, PowerPoint. - Experience training or guiding electronic assembly operators.
- Experience using SAP.
- Experience with rack assemblies (inspection or assembly).
- Work experience in aerospace and defense industries.
- Knowledge of 5‑S, Lean Six Sigma work environments.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $48,205–$127,000 (subject to experience and location). Benefits include health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
