Cnc Machine Shop Supervisor

The CNC Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Manager with all aspects of the organization’s machine shop operations including safety, quality, meeting production demands and overseeing the production of machined parts in a machine shop.

• Oversees a team within the department and holds primary responsibility for programming all CNC work centers to ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective production of high-quality products.
• Fosters a culture of safety and quality in the shop and ensures adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
• Leads, motivates, and mentors machinists to achieve production goals and maintain a positive working environment. Assigns tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure a smooth workflow.

• Spherion:
  As a Machine Shop Worker, operate CNC machines to produce precision parts; inspect finished products; maintain and clean machines; assist with setting up machines for production runs.
• Perma Pure Group (Maxtec facility, West Valley City, UT): CNC Machine Shop Supervisor to coordinate and guide shop operators and assistants to produce product for assembly, engineering and other business purposes.
• Millennium Power Services / Holtec International (Camden, NJ):
  Machine Shop Supervisor overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring production targets are met.
• Safe Flight:
  Machine Shop Supervisor in aviation safety and flight performance systems.
• Exlar / Relativity Space:
  Machine Shop Supervisor overseeing set up and operation of standard machines, tool and die making, and general experimental machinery.
• RTC Aerospace: 60-year-old aerospace manufacturer with multiple facilities, providing cellular manufacturing capabilities; includes supervision of machine shop operations.

• Hands-on experience as a Machine Shop Supervisor with leadership responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of manual and CNC machining techniques.
• Experience programming CNC work centers and ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective production.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality and ability to meet production demands.
