- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and replace production equipment, such as: tanks, pumps, agitators, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, blowers and fans while observing plant safety requirements and lock-out/tag-out procedures
- Report issues that are beyond their ability to fix or repair to supervision
- Document preventive maintenance tasks, repair activity and spare parts usage within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Perform pipe fitting, welding, fabrication, equipment installation and alignments
- Set example for safe operation of machinery and equipment
- Provide feedback to management
- Support engineers, production operators and contractors
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to support operations or when emergencies arise
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance- chemical preferred.
- US Citizen
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to be trained in confined space entry
- Comfortable working at heights (scissor lift, high reach, scaffolding)
