Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse) for Neuro Intensive Care Unit – Nocturnist.

• Provide neuro-critical care for patients in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, augmenting the existing team of two Neurointensivists along with rotating residents in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
• Cover overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts; full-time night shift.
• Review imaging to support clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient care (training provided as needed).

• Board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Experience in ICU, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, Hospitalist, and/or Emergency Medicine to support a complex patient cohort.
• Education:
  
  Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Licensure/Certification:
  New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse and/or Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant license;
  American Heart Association BLS certification.

Full-time night shift, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am; days may vary.
