PCU 4 focus
:
Cardiac, HF, LVAD

• Assists Nurse Director / Manager with overall leadership responsibilities for the assigned department.
• Coaches and counsels employees to maintain high performance standards and provides input into performance evaluations.
• Maintains day‑to‑day operations, including bed flow, patient rounding, chart checks, and clinical support.
• Demonstrates and promotes fiscal responsibility.
• Coordinates inventory consignment, purchasing contracts, and billing processes.
• Manages staff levels by implementing and coordinating unit staffing for nursing care.
• Monitors quality metrics and facilitates performance improvement activities by reviewing charts and coaching staff.

• 2 years recent clinical / cath lab experience required.
• Broad knowledge of nursing practice and ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention.
• Competency in management and leadership skills.

• Current NJ RN license, BLS.
• Appropriate certification as required by specialty or regulatory agency.
