American Traveler is hiring an experienced Neuro ICU RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring a NJ or compact license and ACLS/BLS certification.

• Neuro Intensive Care Unit setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00-19:00)
• Float between ICU and PCU based on unit needs
• Required to float within 5 hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
• EPIC charting system experience preferred

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Nursys verification must reflect active NJ or Compact license
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS (not expiring within 30 days of start), NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Skills required include IV therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, titration of vasoactive drips, and continuous IV sedation
• Neurological skills required: CVA/acute stroke management, post-craniotomy and post-neurosurgery management, with EVD, ICP monitoring, and lumbar drain experience preferred
• Cardiac monitoring skills required including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, with Flo Trac/Vigileo monitoring preferred
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, with only 2 attempts allowed on a PC (not iOS compatible)

• Provide critical care nursing to neurological patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized interventions
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests after submission will not be accepted
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced local rate
• First-time travelers accepted though not preferred
