Holtec Palisades seeks qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Repair Worker in its Maintenance department based at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.

Palisades is positioned to become the first nuclear power plant in the United States to restart after previously entering the early stages of decommissioning. By joining our team, you will be part of a unique and historic undertaking for the nuclear industry and the nation!

Under direct supervision, performs duties such as:

• Preforming maintenance activities on less complex electrical equipment and components
• Under close supervision perform multi work group job tasks within the skill level of this job description
• Field planning and preparation activities related to maintenance of the plant, structures, and components.
• Perform other similar and related work activities, within the skill level of this classification as directed by management/supervision.

Must have all the qualifications of a Nuclear Advanced Unskilled Worker and in addition:

• Must have completed technical school training or an apprentice program in a related field or equivalent military/electrical maintenance experience.
• Must have a practical working knowledge of less complex electrical and mechanical apparatus.
• Must successfully complete the required training programs as it relates to this job description.

• Maintenance Aptitude Selection System (MASS) testing required

This is a union position.
