You’ll be part of a hands-on team responsible for a wide range of residential and commercial carpentry tasks that directly support our mission.

What You’ll Do
- Perform framing, drywall repair/installation, trim work, stair and railing construction
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, and block walls
- Lay out materials, read blueprints, and execute projects accurately
- Lead in-house and external building projects as needed
- Ensure safety and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Collaborate with the construction team and follow all VOADV standards and safety guidelines
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years as a Union Carpenter or completion of a carpentry apprenticeship
- NJ State Journeyman’s license (or equivalent) preferred
- Solid experience in commercial construction and maintenance
- Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and availability for on-call work (nights/weekends/holidays)
