Poll Manager - Voter Registration

Temporary Position in the Voter Registration Department

Examples of duties:

• Arrive at the polls on time
• Issue ballots to voters
• Answer questions that voters may have
• Conduct the election in compliance with South Carolina Election laws

Qualifications:

You must be registered to vote or be at least 16. You must also be able to commit to training, working the entire election day, and remaining non-partisan and neutral while working an election.

• The polls open at 7 am and as a poll manager, you will be expected to stay until the poll closes at 7 pm.
• In order to work, you must take training that will prepare you for election day and answer any questions that you may have about what to do and how. The training lasts around 3 hours and will be scheduled by the Voter Registration office prior to election day.
