Overview

Delivery Assistant - Part Time at Farmers Home Furniture. We are looking for dependable, self-motivated people who enjoy working in retail delivery/warehouse positions.

• Provide dependable delivery/warehouse support as part of a retail delivery team.
• Complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and strong listening skills.
• Maintain good organization and ability to work a variable hour schedule.
• Push, pull, lift, and/or carry material up to 100 lbs. (for applicable roles).
• For Driver positions, comply with DOT certification requirements and operate a covered delivery truck.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good reading, numerical reasoning, and comprehension skills
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication and great listening ability
• Good telephone etiquette
