Part‑Time On‑Air Play‑by‑Play Sports Announcer

Connoisseur Media, in Cameron, Missouri, is seeking a talented On‑Air Talent/Play‑by‑Play Sports Announcer for KKWK‑FM and KMRN‑AM stations. The ideal candidate is an on‑air talent with at least one year of experience, capable of wearing many hats on the programming team and has a passion for radio. Duties may include sports news writing and reading, audio production, on‑location broadcasts, and sports including play‑by‑play.

Knowledge of Word Press and video production is a plus. We will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

• Broadcast live from remote locations and events.
• Provide play‑by‑play commentary for local sports teams.
• Work 5 to 10 hours per week.
• Available nights and weekends.

• Minimum of one year of on‑air experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work weeknights and weekends.
• Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations.
• Ability to successfully execute station events and remotes.
• Ability to relate to the audience and have strong listener interaction.
• Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
• Skill in operating a control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
• Valid driver's license and fully insured personal vehicle.

• Prior broadcast industry experience.
