Respiratory Therapist / Nurse at Lincare

Lincare is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join a growing team. This employee will be responsible for setting up home medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP/BiPAP units, and other related equipment, as well as educating and training patients on the proper usage of prescribed equipment.

• Set up, operate, and provide education on home medical equipment including, but not limited to CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and mechanical ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficiently.
• Review prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory home‑care techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts.
• Work on‑call after hours and weekends as needed (frequency determined by center size and number of employees available).
