Parts Cameron

Responsible for parts handling, including maintaining parts inventory, receiving parts, delivering parts, and unloading and loading trucks. In addition performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Provide backup superior customer service offering smart, efficient solutions for services counter.

• Basic parts and machinery knowledge
• Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience

• Receiving and stock parts from Speedy, UPS, Stock Parts and deliver to technicians
  • Parts to Shop/Service Technicians
  • Look up parts, pull parts and order parts as needed for Service department
  • Check availability and backorders daily; updating Managers on issues
  • Bill parts to work ordered and on the proper segments
  • Check with technicians throughout the day to see what is needed for their jobs
• Return parts properly, remove from job sheet/segment, restock charge billed properly from Service technicians and jobs
• Load and Unload Freight trucks as needed
  • Unload, receive and check against packing lists
  • Core Returns – Identify, tag and return in a timely basis
  • E Crate Returns – Identify, tag and log all returns with logiflow
  • Return JD Pallets – Identify, tag and log all returns with logiflow
  • Transfers of Parts and Equipment between TC locations – Assist, tag and transfer timely
• Repair Estimates and Quotes requested by technicians, inspection sheets or managers
• Back up Service counter as needed
  • Talk with customers, check in equipment, answer phones and create work orders
  • Work the service counter as required on weekends
• Back up Front Parts Counter as needed
  • Answer phones, work counter as needed, and handle pager when assigned
• Assists in keeping a clean, organized, orderly work environment
• Participate in all store training events
• Perform and other jobs or tasks as requested
