Micro Strategy 9.X Developer
Camp Hill, PA
Permanent Hire
VISA Type: US, GC, EAD
Salary: $90K
- Gather and transform business requirements into innovative BI solutions that effectively support the business world-wide
- Document designs, specifications and flow diagrams to assist in efficient development, support and problem analysis
- Develop dashboards and reports per specified requirements and timelines
- Participate in data model design and data build for the enterprise Data Warehouse
- Develop, execute and document test plans for development activities
- Communicate clearly and effectively with business users and technical teams through allphases of the development life cycle
- Deploy Micro Strategy managed releases of large BI application solutions
- Research and troubleshoot reported problems and conduct ongoing maintenance and development
- Maintain knowledge on the latest BI technology and best practices
- Provide on-call support of production applications as part of a rotation within the development team
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field from an accredited university or college is desired
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience with Micro Strategy architecture, dashboard, and report
- Utilizing Architect, Desktop, and Web Professional
- Performance tuning of schemas and individual reports
- Configuration of Schema objects
- Leveraging intelligent server, intelligent cubes, and OLAP
- Proficient in the following Micro Strategy 9.x modules: (All candidates must have)
- Desktop, Report Services, Object Manager, Integrity Manager, Command Manager and Web Developer
- Proficient in developing Micro Strategy objects, filters, prompts and metrics
- Proficient in SQL
- Developing and deploying Micro Strategy reports and dashboards to mobile platforms
-iPad, iPhone, and/or Android based devices is a plus - Experience with Netezza Data Warehouse Appliance is a plus
