Job Description:

Job Objectives

Provides pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding effective medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare services such as immunizations. Ensures proper compounding, dispensing, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures. Supports workflow efficiency and assists the pharmacy manager in optimizing financials, inventory management, and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues promptly.
    • Model and share customer‑service best practices with all team members; promote a distinctive and delightful experience.
    • Develop strong relationships with key customers by anticipating needs and promoting healthcare services such as medication management and immunizations.
    • Participate in community events as requested by store leadership.
  • Operations
    • Provide patient counseling and answer medication questions, including interactions, side effects, and generics.
    • Perform pharmacist tasks: compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
    • Ensure pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations, company policies, and Good‑Faith Dispensing standards.
    • Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, registers, automation, Store

      NET) and propose enhancements.
    • Accurately process insurance claims and follow up with providers and insurers, including 3rd‑party audits.
    • Assist pharmacy manager with performance data analysis, KPI review, and inventory protection.
  • People & Performance Management
    • Assist pharmacy manager with hiring, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
    • Promote teamwork, motivation, and shared vision among staff.
  • Training & Personal Development
    • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice and industry developments.
    • Obtain necessary certifications, education credits, and corporate training modules.
    • Pursue professional development and seek mentorship from pharmacy and store managers.
  • Communications
    • Support pharmacy and store managers by conveying corporate health and wellness information to staff.
