POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordinating menu item preparation and production to CCCH specifications and standards.

• Coordinate, perform, or supervise pre-opening line check, opening procedures, kitchen cleaning, and closing procedures.
• Coordinate and perform all pre-dinner prep, set-up, restocking of cooler, safe food storage, and rotation.
• Prepare food and expedite tickets with food servers to property serve each course in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food preparation work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

• Work Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience as a cook in a professional food establishment, required. Fine Dining establishment experience, preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must possess general knowledge of food preparation.
• Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
  • Required to have or obtain food handlers and alcohol service certifications.
• Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
• Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
• Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.
