Employment Type:

Full Time. Hourly Rate: $17.00.

Minimum Education:

High School.

Execute security duties during shifts to safeguard guests, team members, vendors, and casino property while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Provide excellent guest service and focus primarily on gaming floor responsibilities.

• Patrol assigned areas to identify and report unusual, dangerous, illegal, or suspicious activities, while ensuring officers effectively maintain a safe environment for guests, team members, and property.
• Routinely observe area and people for safety and security, reporting potential concerns to appropriate individuals for proper resolution.
• Address emergency incidents professionally, de‑escalate tense situations, ensure proper resolution in line with CCCH standards, and record thorough documentation.
• Enhance basic security skills annually through in‑house, external, or self‑development training programs.
• Prepare thorough and accurate written reports of internal, illegal or injury‑related matters, escorts of money, and other important documentation as required.
• Perform escorts as required.
• Perform scheduled drops in a timely manner.
• Ensure all policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable laws are enforced.
• Safely operate company vehicles when directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required:

• High school diploma (Equivalent work experience may substitute).
• Minimum 6 months experience in security and/or law enforcement, or military in the past 5 years.
• Must be 18+ years old and available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ gaming license.
• Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
• Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment.
• Must pass a Title 4 background check per ARS 4‑112.G.
• Must be certified in CPR/First Aid within 180 days of hire and maintain certification.

Preferred:

• 1 year experience in security.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, organizational, and planning skills.
• Ability to make sound judgments in stressful situations with or without full information.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft products.
