Inclusive Education Teacher

Teach inclusive, student-centred learning at Cedar Elementary School in Campbell River as a temporary 0.40 FTE Learning Support Teacher. Collaboration matters.
School District 72 is seeking a teacher who understands current BC educational practices and supports diverse learners. You will work with classroom teachers, parents, students, district personnel, and community professionals. The assignment emphasizes inclusion, differentiated learning, assessment for learning, and the BC Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Support individual learners through differentiated learning techniques
Collaboratively plan and implement classroom learning experiences
Use assessment for learning in instructional design
Modify instruction for varied student performance levels
Work with educational assistants, staff, and families
Requirements:
Relevant university qualifications
Special Education diploma or degree with required coursework
At least two years of classroom teaching experience
Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity
