This Site Engineering position leads multidisciplinary field engineering and commissioning for capital projects. You will coordinate design engineers, field technologists, and contractors while developing commissioning plans. The work includes outage coordination, integrated system testing, and technical oversight for electrical and Protection and Control equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare multidisciplinary commissioning plans and test requirements
Coordinate testing, outages, resources, personnel, and documentation
Oversee construction and commissioning of electrical equipment
Review field work and Inspection Test Plans
Resolve technical non-compliances through fault analysis
Requirements:
Eight years of relevant engineering experience
Protection and Control testing and commissioning experience
High-voltage power system fault analysis experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
Use commissioning coordination, field engineering, and Protection and Control expertise to support Campbell River utility projects onsite.
