This Accountant role supports businesses and professionals with financial goals through accounting, taxation, and client service. You will prepare personal and corporate tax returns, assist with tax planning, and maintain compliance. The position requires analytical judgment, organized execution, and clear communication with multiple client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review financial statements accurately
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Assist with tax planning and compliance
- Gather documentation from clients
- Resolve accounting issues within established deadlines
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and taxation
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Knowledge of GST/HST compliance requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills
